Tournaments at The Brown Golf Club

The Brow Golf Club at Welsh Frankton sits alongside the A495 from Ellesmere to Oswestry. Opened in 1995 by founder the late Alf Strange, author, blacksmith and golfer, The Brow is a picturesque 9 hole golf course set in the rolling countryside in North Shropshire, close to the Welsh Border.

We have a fully licensed clubhouse bar and catering facilities with a reputation for good food. We host many functions for members, visitors, local clubs, companies and societies.

Home to Great Food, Nature and Golf Tournaments

The Brow has an active and varied membership, but also attracts thousands of visitors each year with itโ€™s competitive prices and flexible packages for groups and society bookings.

Moreover, here we organize the annual Brown Golf Club Tournament, where professional and amateur players alike are welcome to take part in it. If you feel like you want to go head-to-head and compete against other members of the club, feel free to sign up for the event. However, if you just want to sit back and relax watching the matches, you are more than welcome to do so. This tournament is a great place where people can gather and watch with their friends an exciting week-long competition. To make things more interesting, during the games, we collaborate with an online casino betting site giving the spectators an option to wager on their favorite players and have a chance at winning amazing real money rewards. So delay no further, come and visit us and enjoy great food, the magnificent nature, the golf courses, and of course the competition. We can’t wait to see you at the next Brown Golf Club Tournament.
